The Annual Bloom show, Ireland’s answer to Chelsea is in its 5th year and attracts over 60,000 people over 5 days on the June bank holiday weekend.It takes place in the Phoenix park in Dublin. With 26 show gardens its a festival of Irish garden design, crafts and artisan foods.
The “Alice in Wonderland Sanctuary garden” prominently features a splendid version of the Corner Arch Castle ruin situated along the golden spiral central pathway. This adds significantly to the garden theater and lends an air of melancholy, romance and chivalry. Through the arched doorway and around the corner is the rabbit hole!
With its cast stone and distressed and weathered finish this Gothic folly truly confirms that in wonderland nothing is ever as it seems.
The garden is on site No. SG18 at the far top right corner right beside RTE TV’s Supergarden winner.
