Isn’t this a good idea?
Instead of overhauling the entire playground, Tyrrellstown E.T National School had the bright idea of creating a running trackaround the edge of the courtyard. We were all allowed to run to our hearts content when we were young and we think its important that our children get to do the same. However, due to some unsuitable playground surfaces, health and safety has to be taken account and as such running is often discouraged.
Our grass however is the perfect solution to this problem! – It allows all year play and is non slip, soft, shock absorbent and drys quickly after rain.
We realise that many schools have budget restrictions which is why this simple solution of doing part of the playground struck us as such a good idea. The kids can run to their hearts content on this area without the worry of nasty trips or falls.
